My son Kaleb is a budding software developer - specifically of games! Here are his first two games, posted at Kongregate.com. These are free online games; try them out!
The Everythin' Quiz! - This game has quiz questions about random topics. Some of the questions and answers are humorous.
Rocket Flight - Still in development, this game allows you to guide a rocket through a maze to collect yellow stars. After the first level, things get a bit more complicated as there are red stars you can't run into or you start over and other interesting obstacles. Kaleb and his friend Yegor both helped make this game.
Please support Kaleb in his efforts by trying out his free games! If you like a game, consider adding a good rating. If you have any suggestions for improvements, a comments section is available beside each game on the Kongregate website. (Good work, Kaleb!)
This blog is completely random, from the topics covered to the number and frequency of posts. Randomness by Ann!

Pinterest "Tried-It": Under-Bed Curtain
"The 5-Minute, No-Sew Bottom Bunk Fort"
Here is the original image pinned from ComeTogetherKids.com
I changed this slightly and used a sheer curtain panel cut in half (for 2 curtains so you can get in and out through the middle) on a tension shower rod instead. It wasn't a no-sew project though because I wanted the lengths and everything customized. And it was for underneath a loft bed instead of for a lower bunk.
Gum Drop Window Panel
This is the panel I used for the curtains under Casey's loft bed (she picked out the panel herself): Gum Drop Window Panels and Valance: "This rich, bejeweled window treatment in bright pink will add a flamboyant charm to your decor. Panels are sold individually and each measures 56" W. Valance is sold separately and measures 56" W x 18" L. 100% polyester. Machine wash. Imported." $25 from Bed Bath & Beyond. This panel works well because it's slightly sheer, so it provides some privacy and you can "hide" clutter under the bed, but light still gets through.
I might add a picture of the final project later. I used an inexpensive white pressure-mount shower curtain rod form Bed Bath and Beyond to hang up the two panels (made from the one longer panel) under the bed. Having 2 panels instead of 1 allows for an opening to get in and out through the curtains without having to duck underneath each time.
